The precise affiliation is not clear. A ship of this class, the [[Archimedes Rex]], bore [[Adeptus Mechanicus]]-colours{{Fn|1a}}, yet it produced [[Space Marine]] equipment and weapons{{Fn|1d}}.

==Description==
The Ark-class is the size of a [[Cruiser]] and roughly shaped like a mace.{{Fn|1a}} It is heavily armed, including lances{{Fn|1a}} and a launch-bay for fighters{{Fn|1b}}.

Deep inside, there are several fully automated manufactora manned by [[Servitor]]s. Some of these manufactora produce simple parts which in turn feed other on-board manufactora, where they are assembled into the finished products.{{Fn|1b}} The Ark-class produces:
