An Age of War was a diorama exhibited at Warhammer World.[1]
Background
During the fall of Cadia, the Black Templars of the Cruxis Crusade formed a buttress at one end of a ragged line of Guardsmen, desperately defending the evacuation against soul-hungry Daemons. Despite their heroism, it soon became clear that the evacuation fields would be overrun; some would have to be sacrificed for the rest to escape.[1]
Diorama
Created by Pedro Wieglus. Rather than putting a full tank onto the small base, Pedro sliced it down to almost a third. As well as allowing more space for models, it creates the feeling that we're only seeing part of a much larger battle.[1]
