'''Artifact XE3-36'''{{Fn|Note 1}} is the [[Imperial]] designation for a mysterious pyramid found in the [[Equatorial Jungle]] on the planet [[Armageddon]].{{Fn|1}}

The artefact, which resembles a metallic pyramid,{{Fn|1}} is believed to be at least six-hundred millennia old,{{Fn|2}} but has mostly defied Imperial analysis so far. The surface is lacking in seams or joins, and is composed of an unknown compound with similarities to both metal and plastic. The [[Feral Ork]]s which otherwise infest the Jungle steer clear of the Artefact.{{Fn|1}} 

Analysis by [[Inquisitor]] [[Lichtenstein]] showed the pyramid to be of [[Necron]] origin, before the pyramid itself came to life revealing itself to be a Necron [[Monolith]].{{Fn|2}}
