The '''Herald of the Coming Doom''' is a unique Astartes [[Bolt pistol]] and a relic of the [[Blood Ravens]] [[chapter]].  Its history includes the Blood Ravens' campaign against the traitorous [[Imperial Guardsmen]] on [[Kronus]].  The Blood Ravens do not like to dwell on the details of the campaign, and so records are sketchy, but a fragment from a journal of the 102nd [[Imperial Guard Company|Company]] of the [[1st Kronus Liberators]] describes a bolt pistol that made a distinctive sound, "the sound of doom itself stalking our men."{{Fn|1}}.
