The ''Sacrum Finem'' has been commanded by [[Shipmaster]] [[Gura]] for several decades.  She and her crew were sanctioned by the [[Ordo Hereticus]] to serve the Grey Knights and are veterans of dozens of campaigns; however, they are nonetheless mindwiped after every mission in order to preserve their souls.{{Fn|1b}}

The ''Sacrum Finem'' has been used as a transport and base of operations by the [[Purifier]]s on multiple missions, including the purging of the [[Daemonship|corrupted]] relic-ship ''[[Envoy of Discipline]]'' and the defence of [[Sandava II]] and [[Sandava III|III]] from [[Daemon|Daemonic]] incursions (resulting in the [[Exterminatus]] of the former).{{Fn|1a}}{{Fn|1b}}{{Fn|1c}}{{Fn|1d}}
