They are utterly pragmatic and atheistic, the Syndicate is willing to work with anyone, including [[Chaos Cultists]] and [[Xenos]], as long as they are paid to do so. In functionality, the Syndicate is a similar to a secret society, as new layers of truths are revealed to its members when they progress up the [[Cartel]]'s ranks.{{Fn|1c}}
