'''Vectas''' was an [[Assault Marine]] of the [[Ultramarines]] [[8th Company (Ultramarines)|Eighth Company]] who served as a member of [[Squad Numitor]] during the [[Damocles Crusade]].{{Fn|1}}

In the course of [[Operation Pluto|the invasion]] of [[Dal'yth]], Squads Numitor and [[Squad Sicarius|Sicarius]] attempted to locate the [[T'au|enemy]] commander by boarding an [[Transmotive|automated transport]] heading back behind enemy lines for reinforcements. However, the transport was intercepted and attacked by [[T'au Commander|Commander]] [[Farsight]]. In the resulting fight Farsight was badly wounded and forced to flee; as he retreated he shot at [[Space Marine Sergeant|Sergeant]] [[Jorus Numitor|Numitor]] with his [[plasma rifle]]. Numitor evaded the shot, which instead hit Vectas, killing him.{{Fn|1}}
