A '''Warp Spider Jump Generator''' is an [[Eldar]] warp generator used by [[Warp Spider]] [[Aspect Warrior]]s housed within the armoured backpack of their [[Aspect Armour]]. This compact and complex device allows for instantaneous travel through the [[Warp]], giving their prey no warning as they appear right beside them.{{Fn|1}}

The distances which can be travelled in this manner are relatively short, up to a hundred yards, but is an unpleasant experience for the wearer as visions of the Warp sweep across their vision and a [[She Who Thirsts|great hungering maw]] tugs at their spirit.{{Fn|2}} For the Eldar to spend even a short amount of time within the Warp is not only a danger to their body but their very soul, and the possibility of a fate worst than death means the Warp Spiders are counted among the bravest of all Aspect Warriors.{{Fn|3}}

The [[Shade Runner]]s amongst the various [[Aeldari Corsair]]s use similar technology, being the [[Blink Pack]]s that they wear.{{Fn|9}} These blink packs allow the wearer to make tiny [[warp jump]]s a few paces away.{{Fn|8a}}

If a Warp Jump Generator malfunctions it will likely spell doom for the wearer, activation resulting in clawing hands caressing them for less than a moment before they disappear from existence, likely to never reappear. Despite the seemingly certain doom, some may yet return to [[realspace]] if their Warp Jump Generator regains function, and if they can survive the unknowable horrors of the Warp for long enough to do so.{{Fn|8b}}
