While the [[Traitor]]s initially began to push the White Scars back, the battle was lost when the [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]]'s [[Karaoghlanlar]] reinforcements arrived. These fierce and berserk [[Destroyer Squad]]s overran the Emperor's Children's forces at the void dock and the White Scars destroyed its weapon placements. Zargan and his surviving forces were later evacuated, when the White Scars retreated from the battle.{{Fn|1}}
