Arkio transformed, holding the Spear of Telesto, as he appeared on the cover of Deus Sanguinius

History

Brother both by chapter and in blood to Rafen, Arkio achieved veteran status. He assisted Inquisitor Ramius Stele in the discovery and reclaiming of the Spear of Telesto, a lost Primarch weapon of the Blood Angels Space Marine chapter.

While fighting a Word Bearers assault on a burial world, Rafen and his fellow Blood Angels notice a transformation of the youth, leading them to believe he was Sanguinius reborn. This was not the case, but an elaborate ruse created by agents of Chaos, plunging the Blood Angels into a civil war.

Arkio was killed in a duel with his brother Rafen, his remains burned upon a pyre out of respect.
