Greater Daemon

Greater Daemons are the most powerful Daemons before the Chaos gods (Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh, and Nurgle) themselves. They require blood sacrifices to summon, but once they reach the table top, they are a vicious sight to behold and are difficult to destroy.

There are four Greater Daemons, each linked to one of the four major Chaos gods:

Bloodthirster

Bloodthirsters are the Chaos god Khorne's physical embodiments who typically carry the monstrous Axe of Khorne and the terrifying Whip of Khorne into battle. They are enormous combat monsters, easily able to tear troops, such as Space Marines, to shreds. Their only desire is to end the lives of everything around them as a sacrifice to the blood god, Khorne.

Forgeworld have released a model to represent the Bloodthirster as well as Games Workshop.
