Veteran Sergeant
A Veteran Sergeant is similar to a Sergeant, and is used primarily by the Imperial Guard and Space Marines, but who has been in battle several times before and has gained sufficient experience to be allowed access to the armoury, though they do not count as officers. Veteran Sergeants tend to have slightly improved stats as well as a fairly small points increase. No other race seems to use this type of rank, staying with the basic Sergeant.
