A Rad Counter is a device used by the inhabitants of environments where they are likely to encounter dangerous levels of radiation regularly.1
Contents
Appearance
A Rad Counter is usually small in size and designed as an amulet or bracelet which can be worn like a piece of jewellery.1
Function
The Rad Counter warns its wearer of dangerous radiation levels which would normally be invisible to the naked eye. It usually does so by either emitting a loud warning noise such as clicking, by changing colour, by flashing, or any of the other methods usually employed by warning devices.1
Having a Rad Counter allows a fighter to safely navigate hazardous battlefields and perhaps even lure their enemies into radiation fields.1
