Gravalax is a minor Agri World in the Damocles Gulf region of space. It is an Imperial world surrounded by Tau controlled space. It has been described as being of no strategic value. In 931.M41, the Tau's plan to annex it peacefully was disrupted by riots and civil War amongst the population, caused by the arrival of a Division of Imperial Guard.
Commissar Ciaphas Cain and the female Inquisitor Amberley Vail from Ordo Xenos investigated on Gravalax.
