Blood Talons are a Dreadnought weapon in the armory of the Blood Angels and successor chapters. Unlike most Dreadnought Close Combat Weapons, a blood talon more closely resembles a lightning claw in appearance and operation. This weapon has four powered blades that pincer down on a target or slash through an enemy with ease; and with the strength of a Dreadnought behind it, a blood talon can sweep through half of an enemy squad with a single stroke. They are used exclusively in pairs, and can be relatively easily acquired for use within a chapter that utilizes them.
Blood Talons can be equipped onto a Furioso Dreadnought or a Death Company Dreadnought. While a Librarian Dreadnought could conceivably be equipped with these, they eschew blood talons in favor of a combination of a Blood Fist and a Force Weapon.1
