The Whirlwind multiple missile launcher is mounted on the Space Marine Whirlwind tank. It has two firing modes, either using the standard Vengence missiles or the more advanced Castellan missiles. Unfortunatly they take a lot of time to change and as such you must only use one of the two missile types per battle.
Vengence missiles
Vengence missiles are the standard armament of the Whirlwind. They contain large amounts of explosives and deal damage over a large area.
Castellan missiles
Castellan missiles do not contain explosives as such, but scatter mines over a large area. These are deadly to horde armies and can even take down some of the toughest enemies. Sufficient mines are fired in each shot that the field will remain until the end of the battle.
