Calderis, located in Ultima Segmentum's^[1] Korianis sector^[2], is a Feudal World, and one of the Blood Ravens' recruiting worlds.

Overview

Calderis was first settled in a pre-Imperial era.^{[Needs Citation]}

Its Aestimare is H321, and its technology level is said to be on par with the early Industrial Revolution.^{[Needs Citation]}

Like many feudal worlds, Calderis's Planetary Governor lives in orbit around the planet, and makes sure that the tithes of men and ores are properly paid. The Blood Ravens do not maintain a constant presence on the planet, instead opting to return every few years or decades to recruit.^{[Needs Citation]}

Population

Owing to the planet's harsh, arid climate, the locals are hardy and good stock for recruitment of Space Marines. Throughout the centuries, however, Calderis has suffered several outbreaks of Feral Orks. In recent seasons, the Orks have grown in number, power, and resources, forcing the Governor to send in Calderis's PDF to restore order. ^{[Needs Citation]}

Revent Events

Recently, during the First Aurelian Crusade, the Blood Ravens also sent fourteen Battle Brothers, led by Captain Davian Thule to assist.^{[Needs Citation]}
