Callion Zaven was a member of the Emperor's Children during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy. An elderly member of his Legion born on Terra over Chemos, he saw fighting on Jupiter early during the Great Crusade before the discovery of Fulgrim. During the fighting on Jupiter he was seriously wounded and later inducted into the Crusader Host. Zaven remained loyal to the Emperor during the Heresy and joined Malcador's Knights-Errant. He was killed aboard the Vengeful Spirit during the Knights-Errant attempted infiltration of the vessel after the Battle of Molech.[1]
