The Blacksun Filter is an advanced Tau optical filter that allows the user to see at much greater distances when fighting in nighttime conditions.[1a] In addition to being mounted in Tau Vehicles and Battlesuits, Blacksun Filters can also come in the form of hard-wired wargear.[1b]
