Abathar was a Techmarine of the Dark Angels during the War of the Beast in M32. One of the original members of the newly created Deathwatch, Abathar took part in its first mission to destroy the Ork Attack Moon over Terra. He expressed reluctance to work alongside Space Wolves, but nonetheless ultimately worked well alongside them.[1]
He later took part in the search for an Ork Psyker on Valhalla[2]
