The Siege of Hammerspire took place in 779.M41. Following a decade-long siege, the supposedly indestructible fortress of Hammerspire was finally broken by Iron Hands Assault Centurions and the defenders were slain to a man — a full two years after the rebels had declared their unconditional surrender.[1]
