The Emperor's Swords are a Space Marine Chapter that were seemingly destroyed in 970.M41. As of the time of the Age of the Dark Imperium the Emperor's Swords appear to be campaigning once more[4]. It is the second chapter of this name.[2]

The Emperor's Swords had the misfortune that their homeworld was a revealed to be a Necron Tomb World. When the ancient creatures awoke, they rose from the depth of the planet and fell upon the Chapter. Twenty years later the Space Marines of the Fire Lords avenged the Emperor's Swords and eliminated the Necrons on Bellicas.[1]
Before their destruction, in 925.M41 the Chapter Master of the Emperor's Swords, Kendral, was slain by the Ork Warboss Skullkrumpa.[3]
Sometime during the Age of the Dark Imperium, the Emperor's Swords and Void Daggers formed a coalition to engage the new T'au Fifth Sphere of Expansion although contact with this coalition has been lost.[4]
