Galatan, a Space Marine of the Ultramarines chapter, took part in the Corinthian Crusade, 698.M41. By this time he was Ancient Galatan, Bearer of the Banner of Macragge. He briefly dropped the banner when his arm was chopped off by Warboss Skargor. While Warboss Skargor was distracted trying to break the banner with his Power Claw, Ancient Galatan drove his Power Sword through the back of Skargor's head, killing him and finally breaking the spirit of the defence. Galatan died of his wound from this encounter.
