Badlanding is an Imperial world,[3] that was once conquered by the Orks of Warlord Snagrod, the Arch-Arsonist of Charadon, in late M41.[1]

History

It was a Colony World when the Orks invaded, which later led the Crimson Fists Chapter to come to Badlanding's aid.[1] They were commanded by Captain Ashor Drakken,[2] but the Chapter's attempt to save the world failed, and just ensured that the Crimson Fists' Homeworld, Rynn's World, was the next target for Snagrod's hordes.[1] Sometime after the Great Rift's creation, however, the Crimson Fists' Chapter Master, Pedro Kantor, successfully led a second invasion of Badlanding, which freed the world from the Orks. The Chapter was greatly aided in this attack, by the Imperial Navy warships of Battlegroup Vengeance.[3]
