House Thorne is a matriarchal[1a] Adeptus Mechanicus[1b] Knight House that resides on the Knight World Tanika.[1x]
Sometime after the creation of the Great Rift, Thorne led Tanika's other Households to battle the Traitor Titans of Legio Abominator, after it invaded the Homeworld of the Iron Hands Chapter. Chains of allegiance and loyalty were then forged between the Knights and Iron Hands, as they successfully drove Legio Abominator from Medusa's surface.[1a]
