Vermanus Cybus was an Iron Hands Space Marine during the Horus Heresy.[1a]
Cybus was a firm believer in the Iron Hands' ideology of the "weakness" of the flesh, and as a result had a multitude of bionic augmentations.[1b] One of the few Morlocks to survive the Drop Site Massacre, he became part the Strike Cruiser Sisypheum's crew during its chase of the traitor Primarchs Fulgrim and Perturabo.[1a]
