The Drakeslayers are one of the twelve active Great Companies of the Space Wolves. It is currently commanded by Krom Dragongaze.[1a]
Overview
The Drakeslayers are known for issuing boasts and wagers during battle, such as who can seek the head of the enemy commander or wade through a sea of enemies without a wound. On the battlefield they are a fluid and gifted Brotherhood capable of incredible feats of strategy. They seek nothing less than to be recognized as the greatest fighting force of the Chapter. To this end along their endless boasts, they are also known to have zero tolerance for failure, which is brutally punished. Conversely success is rewarded, and as such the Great Company sports the most Wolf Guard after the Champions of Fenris themselves.[8a]
The Drakeslayers dislike the use of Combat Servitors for training, instead of engaging in increasingly violent sparring matches with themselves. These actions often go too far even for the presiding Space Wolves Wolf Priests and Sergeants, who have to intervene.[8a]
