Just for 4 days of dogfights the wing losses in this campaign 75% of aircrafts - shot down by the Eldar Nightwings. Such losses counted as not unusual when facing Eldar aircraft.[4][1b]
The 5082nd involved in the defence of Hive Helsreach during the Third War for Armageddon.[2]
Sixteen of its Lightnings were given the honour to be marked with the Templar Cross after serving with Marshal Tarrison in the Dathax Crusade.[2]
