The Dark Sentry is a world of the Beta-Garmon Star Cluster.[1]
A "rogue planet", the Dark Sentry frequently appears and vanishes throughout the Cluster due to unknown reasons. A black mass of shadow, its form shifts between solid and liquid depending on the proximity to different stars and thus permanent habitation is all but impossible. Nonetheless the planet is still home to hardy nomadic human fishermen which hunt the Dark Sentry's strange creatures. The appearance of the Dark Sentry to nearby worlds is often seen as an ill omen.[1]
