The Soul Fortress is a psychoreactive coif that is a relic of the Deathwatch and is worn by its Librarians.[1]
It enhances the wearer's natural repugnance for his foes into a radiating barrier around him. This barrier rejects insidious mental incursion and also dampens the spiritual manipulations of the Xenos the Soul Fortress' wearer faces. With its aid, Deathwatch Librarians have delved into the dens of psychically gifted Xenos horrors without fear of taint, as their minds are girded against auras of soul-draining enervation.[1]
