'''Thoth''' was a is an [[Desert WorldImperial]] world{{Fn|1}} in the [[Segmentum Pacificus]]. It was a human world discovered in the [[Macharian Crusade]] and liberated from [[Chaos]]-worshiping witches.{{Fn|12}} 

It was discovered during the [[Macharian Crusade]] and the [[Imperium]] fought to liberate the [[Human]] populated [[Desert World]],{{Fn|2}} from the [[Chaos]]-worshiping [[Witches of Thoth]].{{Fn|3}} The [[Tallarn Desert Raiders]] [[Tallarn 3rd|3rd regiment]], were especially chosen for to fight in the type of planet, desert environment and were led by [[Imperial Guard Captain|Captain]] [[Al'rahem]] . He later used the Thoth's native [[N'go ]] tribesmen and to conducted a guerrilla campaign against the Chaos followers on the planet[[Seercult]].{{Fn|12}}

During the battle, a landing craft carrying [[Imperial Guard Captain|Captain]] [[Al'rahem]] and a portion of the [[Tallarn 3rd]] malfunctioned and crashed into territory held by the [[Witches of Thoth]]. The [[Regiment]]'s survivors then fought their way{{Fn|3}} back to safety,{{Fn|1}} as the Captain led a rearguard against the [[Seercult]].{{Fn|3}} The [[Inquisition]] soon afterwards declared Thoth ''Amundi Heretica'' and had the world [[Exterminatus|cleansed of all life with ]] by [[virus bomb]]s.{{Fn|12}}

Before this occurred, [[Al'Rahem ]] campaigned for the [[N'go ]] to be spared due to the aid they provided, and his requests were granted.{{citethis}} The N'go were then evacuatedfrom their [[Homeworld]], along with genetic samples of the Thoth's [[flora ]] and [[fauna of the planet]]. After the [[virus bombing bomb]]ing, the N'go were returned to the planet.
