Not unlike an older model of a in the [[LightningSabbat Crusade]], it is also equipped considered some of the Archenemy's lightest and nimblest aircraft in that theater.{{Fn|1a}}  They were piloted by a single person.{{Fn|2c}} Equipped with vectored engines for sharper manoeuvresand chin-guns, they are long-nosed, twin-boomed, and covered in spikes.{{Fn|2a}} Locusts were also armed with six [[missile]]s,{{Fn|2b}} droppable payloads{{Fn|2d}} and were capable of reaching hypersonic speeds.{{Fn|2b}} Paint schemes varied depending on the Chaos fleet they served with. Common colors were various shades of red, with golden stripes{{Fn|1b}} or black tiger stripe patterns.{{Fn|2b}} Large numbers of Locusts were deployed in [[Enok Innokenti]]'s assault on the planet [[Herodor]]{{Fn|1}}, and in the [[Blood Pact]]'s campaign on [[Enothis]]{{Fn|2}} alongside [[Hell Blade]]s{{Fn|1c}} and [[Hell Talon]]s.{{Fn|1d}}
