Vaddon was an Apothecary of the Luna Wolves and later the Sons of Horus during the Great Crusade.[1]
After Horus was wounded on Davin, Vaddon was one of the Apothecaries who rushed to save Horus' life, taking him to the Apothecarion aboard the Vengeful Spirit.[1a] Whilst aboard the Vengeful Spirit Vaddon was unable to stabilise the wound inflicted on Horus by Eugan Temba, partly due to his lack of understanding of the Primarch's physiology. This frustrated Abbadon, who slammed Vaddon against the wall in frustration. Vaddon would agree with Loken's theory that finding the weapon that inflicted the wound could save Horus more to give Loken hope.[1b] After Horus rose from the Serpent's Lodge, Vaddon revealed to Loken that the Anathame had been given to Fabius Bile by the Warmaster's own orders.[1c] After the surrender of the Auretian Technocracy Vaddon discovered that it was bolter shells that had killed the Commander of the Byzant Janizars, Hektor Varvarus and that it was fired by an Astartes bolter.[1d]
