Once again, there was, and never will be, a Dark Eldar 3rd edition codex!
- But there was a 3rd Edition of the tabletop game and one of the army books (edited for the 3rd edition) was about the Dark Eldar. The title is is intended to be simple and understandable and not 200% accurate. Irulan 03:37, 1 May 2008 (CEST)

- Because we took the standard of putting (xx edition) after each codex, where xx is the GAME edition the codex is designed for.
