In the aftermath of the creation of the [[Great Rift]], the Chapter was reinforced by [[Primaris Space Marines]], sent to them by the [[Indomitus Crusade]]. The Red Wolves then continued to fight the Imperium's enemies, until their Homeworld, [[Bloodfall]], was invaded by a splinter of [[Hive Fleet]] [[Leviathan]]. This splinter had been involved in the [[Octarius War]], however, and the [[Ork]]-fed Tyranids inflicted horrific losses on the Chapter, before shattering their [[Fortress Monastery]]. The Red Wolves were forced to retreat and, after securing vital stocks of their [[Gene-seed]], they evacuated from Bloodfall in their remaining [[Battle Barge]]s.{{Fn|4}}
