Lord General Lugo was one of many Imperial Commanders leading forces during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade had made some headway in the political cirlces of the Crusade forces. He had got command of a morally important theater with the world of Hagia. It was seen to be a simple enough job for any General but went pear shaped when the Chaos forces had left a booby trap inside the Doctrinopolis which was a signal for a massive chaos force to reinforce them.
He tried to pin the blame for the set back on Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt.
He then became the force commander for the world of Herodor.
