The universal symbol of the Freebooterz is the '''''Jolly Ork''''' - an Ork Skull and Crossbones motif which often adorns their clothes, banners and vehicles.{{Fn|1a}}

As Freebooterz are very often the most widely travelled of their kind, they can be an invaluable source of knowledge for the curious Ork who wishes to learn about the wider [[galaxy]], if they can sift through a long stream of information and sort out the truth from the boasting, exaggerations and lies. Any significant Ork Waaagh! is very likely to attract Freebooterz, if nothing else than to say they were there (in all the most important battles, obviously).{{Fn|13}}
