A Rad Counter is a device used in environments where the inhabitants are likely to regularly encounter dangerous levels of radiation.[1]
Overview
A Rad Counter is usually small in size and designed as an amulet or bracelet which can be worn like a piece of jewellery.[1]
The Rad Counter warns its wearer of dangerous radiation levels which would normally be invisible to the naked eye. It usually does so by either emitting a loud warning noise such as clicking, by changing colour, by flashing, or any of the other methods usually employed by warning devices.[1]
Having a Rad Counter allows a fighter to safely navigate hazardous battlefields and perhaps even lure their enemies into radiation fields.[1]
