A Bio-Scanner is a small device used to detect life signs in proximity to the user.[1][2]
Contents
Function
The Bio-Scanner allows its user to detect intruders who are otherwise hidden by terrain or in poor-visiblity conditions.[1]
A bio-scanner can detect abnormal concentration of living tissue, such as close groups or large creatures. It also can differentiate between animal and vegetation objects.[2]
Appearance
The Scanner is about the same size as a pistol, and is typically worn attached to a belt, or hung around the neck.[1]
