Skin rings are human trafficking groups. Members of these groups are referred to as skin runners.[1]
Skin rings typically deal in prostitution, but also forced labour, particularly abhumans. They often sell their captives to nobles, factorums, or joy houses. They exploit the young and poor using their own hopes as bait, often luring them in with false promises of good jobs elsewhere, and then condemn them to unending servitude.[1]
