The Forging is also known as the Golden Age of the Imperium.[1]
During this period the Adeptus Terra brought the most important systems under its control and expanded the borders of the Imperium. Internal stability was gained with the establishment of Astropathic Choirs on countless worlds and the discovery of valuable Standard Template Constructs from the Dark Age of Technology.[1]
Just like during the Great Crusade the Imperium expunged the forces of Chaos and Xenos alike in the galaxy and reclaimed lost regions.[1]
