The Red Ark was an Adeptus Mechanicus ship (designation 20022563529) from Forge World Mars.
History
Assigned to the Blood Angels homeworld of Baal, the Red Ark searched out and came to the asteroid that would become the space hulk called "Olethros", searching for an unknown chaotic artefact. It mined the asteroid and successfully recovered the artefact. Some catastrophe befell the ship and its crew and it became trapped to the asteroid.[1b] Sometime afterward, the ship became infested with Tyranid genestealers. The Red Ark was found by the crew of the Rogue Trader ship: Tregrom.
