The Ophion System is a star system of Imperial space, located beyond the Great Rift at the edge of a region of the Imperium Nihilus known as Elara's Veil.[1a][1b]
The Ophion System is sometimes referred to as the Nemeton System, after the planet Nemeton, homeworld of the Emperor's Spears.[2]

The Ophion system only has one planet, which orbits a large, blue star.[1b]
