History

Shadeblight

In 750.M41 the Red Wolves fought Chaos Space Marines of the Night Lords Legion in the Ango Subsector. Although they stood alone, the Red Wolves were able to prevent the Night Lords capturing the possessed cruiser Shadeblight.[2]

Fourth Quadrant Rebellion

The Chapter deployed in full strength during the Fourth Quadrant Rebellion, playing a crucial role in crushing the insurrection.[3]

Indomitus Crusade

In the aftermath of the creation of the Great Rift, the Chapter was reinforced by Primaris Space Marines, sent to them by the Indomitus Crusade. The Red Wolves then continued to fight the Imperium's enemies, until their Homeworld, Bloodfall, was invaded by a splinter of Hive Fleet Leviathan. This splinter had been involved in the Octarius War, however, and the Ork-fed Tyranids inflicted horrific losses on the Chapter, before shattering their Fortress Monastery. The Red Wolves were forced to retreat and, after securing vital stocks of their Gene-seed, they evacuated from Bloodfall in their remaining Battle Barges.[4]
