The Jericho Gate[1d]
The Jericho Gate[1a], also known as the Jericho-Maw Warp Gate[2a] and the Koronus Maw Gateway[1b], is a Warp Gate connecting the Koronus Passage to the Jericho Reach.[1a][2]
The Jericho Gate was discovered by the Imperial frigate Spear of Tarsus in 755.M41. Concerned that the gate could be used by by enemies from the Eastern Fringe (such as the T'au and Tyranids) to attack the galactic north of Segmentum Obscurus, the High Lords of Terra decided the launch the Achilus Crusade through the gate to reclaim the long lost worlds of the Reach and fortify them.[1c]
