Sign Language is a type of non verbal communication, that uses hand signals and gestures.[1]
Several such languages exist within the Imperium, including:
- Battle sign — Has a numerous variants used by Space Marines[1] and Astra Militarum.[3] T'au Fire Warriors also utilise their own battle sign.[4]
- Graph-binarc[1]
- Hortcode — used by the Space Marine Legions alongside Battle-Sign.[2a] Also known to the Perpetuals John Grammaticus and Ollanius Persson.[2b]
- Thoughtmark — used by the Sisters of Silence[1]
- Voidsys[1]
