After the Heresy, when [[Roboute Guilliman ]] brought forth the codex astartes and proposed the legions be split into smaller chapters, [[Rogal Dorn ]] along with [[Leman Russ ]] and [[Vulkan ]] argued against it. While [[Corax ]] and Jagatai [[Jaghatai Khan suported ]] supported Guilliman, as the argument became heated and minor blows exchanged, many feared another war so [[Rogal dorn compromised with Guilliman Dorn]] finally relented and split his legion into three chapters. The calmer and pacienter marines became the [[Crimson Fists]], the more zelous and driven marines became the [[Black Templars]] and the marines that where proudest of the legion stayed in The Imperial Fists. From these chapters others came such as the [[Soul Drinkers]] and many others.
