Kaptin Bluddflagg

Kaptin Bluddflagg is a Freebooter Ork Warboss and the main Ork character of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution.

Biography

Ork Campaign

Unlike most Ork Warbosses, Bluddflagg is not entirely motivated by the desire for a bigger Waaagh!, but also by loot. This drove him to be a successful Freebooter, and gives him the ability to tactically choose his fights where he sees the most profit. Bluddflagg's looting raids have led him and his boyz to Subsector Aurelia, where he was known for serving as a mercenary for those who payed enough. Having his his Krooza shot down by Inquisitor Adrastia into Typhon Primaris, he ventured Typhon and killed Autarch Kayleth thinking she was the responsable. Adrastia would later reveal herself, and proposed Bluddflagg to kill the Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens, Azariah Kyras. Bluddflagg would at first refuse this deal for not getting Adrastia's hat as his reward, but would change his mind later just for the fun of the combat.

Venturing through the subsector, getting to additional Tellyportas and fighting enemies such as rebel Guardsmen, Bad Moons Orks, loyalist Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines, Bluddflagg and his crew searched for Kyras around the planets until they eventually discovered him on Typhon. Before getting to him, though, Bluddflagg was ambushed by the Eldar, who failed to kill him and resulted in having their Seer Council stomped.

When finally finding Kyras, Bluddflagg was revealed that the Eldar he had just killed were stopping the Inquisition fleet into performing Exterminatus, but now that they were gone, the ships entered orbit and started the process of destruction of the planet. Bluddflagg and his crew ran through the ruined Typhon, making their way through daemons, rival Orks and feral Tyranids, defeating a powerful Chaos Champion, and finally managing to escape the planet via a tellyporta, which sent him and his crew to the Space Hulk known as the Judgment of Carrion.

Impressed by the Space Hulk, Bluddflagg decided to make it his new Krooza to leave the sector, but decided to defeat Kyras first before he had a chance of potentially harming it. Fighting his way through Tyranids and Orks under the command of a crazed Mekboy simply refered as Mad Mek, Bluddflagg found a Labor Engine in the Space Hulk which contained valuable loot for him. Deducing that Kyras would be at the exterminated planet of Cyrene due to it being a place which "dey already dakkad before", Bluddflagg and his crew got their hands on a powerful Battlewagon and defeated Kyras's remaining forces. However, the corrupted Chaptor Master would then start his ascension to become a Daemon Prince, and if not stopped in time, would sacrifice the entire subsector to Khorne.

Bluddflagg's Freebooterz charged through Kyras's battlefield, fighting the legions of Chaos and witnessing the death of Gabriel Angelos from a "propa smakk". Bluddflagg and his boyz eventually battled the Daemon Prince himself, weakning him enough for him to be knocked down. Bluddflagg then ordered a Rok bombardment, with destroyed Kyras and saved Subsector Aurelia.

After the defeat of Chaos, Bluddflagg went after Adrastia, but instead of killing her, merely threw her away while taking her hat. Bluddflagg and his crew made the Judgment of Carrion their new Krooza, which tellyported away to the Freebooterz's next looting victims.

Eldar Campaign

If the Orks aren't the played faction in the campaign, Bluddflagg serves as the enemy leader of the Eldar tutorial mission. After having his boyz defeated, he is killed by Autarch Kayleth in battle.

Equipment

At the start of the campaign, Bluddflagg is equipped with a 'Uge Choppa. As he gains loot from missions, he can be equipped with items such as 'Uge Hammas, armor, a Boss Pole and a Trophy Rack. Regardless of the weapon he is using, Bluddflagg always carries a Twin-Linked Shoota which can be enhanced to do more damage and knock enemies away.
