Weldcog is a Forge Moon, that is controlled by the World Eaters Warband known as Pistonhand's Daemoniforge.[1]
History
The forges of Weldcog originally served the Imperium, until the moon was captured by the forces of the Chaos Lord Azgorek Varren. He then constructed thousands of Daemon Engines and ordered that eighty-eight percent of Weldcog's population be slaughtered to draw forth Khorne Daemons to possess them. Millions upon millions were slain and their deaths gave birth to Pistonhand's Daemoniforge.[1]
