The Splendid Pinion was a Strike Cruiser in service with the Angels Excelsis Chapter.[1a]
The vessel was commanded by Captain Erwin of the Chapter's Second Company during the Devastation of Baal.[1a] The Splendid Pinion was destroyed, along with all of the other Angels Excelsis vessels, in the opening void war in the Baal System by the tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan.[1b]
